DIRECTOR OF CHANNEL PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM

Position Description
The Director of Channel Partnerships Program will be instrumental in building Neighborhood America’s value chain by advancing the broad based distribution of Neighborhood America solutions. This will be accomplished through the identification of strategic relationships, development of partnership plan, and the operational execution of the program’s design. The value chain includes our customers as partners, technology vendor channels with solution partners and service providers, system integrators, and interactive marketing agencies.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES >> The Director of Channel Partnership Program will play a key role in Neighborhood America’s growing Channel Development to drive sales and expand distribution. The incumbent in this position will target, develop, and generate revenue through partners for the company's software and mobile product lines that provide solutions to channel and alliance partners. The Director of Channel Partnerships Program will accomplish revenue growth by working with new and existing partners through consultative sales methods, partner training and certification programs and initiatives, sales and marketing collateral, and other incentives. This position may also introduce and up-sell new products and business services through the same distribution channels. 

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS >>
The position of Director of Channel Partnerships Program requires a person with unique skills, experience and educational background. The ideal candidate must have:

  • A demonstrated passion for and understanding of the enterprise social networking industry.
  • Bachelors Degree in sales, marketing, communications, business or a closely related field and a minimum of 5 years of proven channel sales experience.
  • Experience building relationships with companies that use and deploy social networks, new media, or in related industries.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, follow-up, consultative selling and negotiation skills.
  • Be professional, detail conscious, and possess the ability to deal with customers in a manner that shows sensitivity and tact.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Provide regular feedback and recommendations on accounts to senior channel/sales management
  • Demonstrated ability to translate understanding of client/partner business needs, allowing Neighborhood America to expand their solutions/services.
  • Proven leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications >>

  • Deep knowledge of the Internet and related technologies, with proven track record in social media
  • Proactively opportunistic - stays on top of emerging technologies and develops new programs and strategies accordingly
  • Master’s degree or equivalent

Reporting relationship and Location>>

  • This position will report to the Vice President of Sales.
  • It will reside in Neighborhood America’s state-of-the-art corporate facility in Naples, Florida.
